October is Fire Prevention Month
The Roosevelt Fire Department will conduct Fire Prevention classes, educating school children on fire safety at its headquarters on West Centennial Avenue

CLOSE THE DOORS
- In the event of a fire, when leaving your apartment or house always close the door behind you
- to stop or slow the spread of the fire
- When sleeping at night close the doors to the bedrooms
REPORTING A FIRE
Teach children at the earliest age how to report a fire -

Be prepared to give the operator your name, the address of the fire and make sure you include the town,
what is on fire and your telephone number.
